Welcome to the world’s slowest snail mail club.
Created by an Aunt who just wanted to secure her spot as the favourite. FlourTales is a way to get little ones to experience the joy of mail, follow a group of adventurers, and get their hands sticky in the kitchen.
What you get in each envelope:
Each month (or around about), you’ll receive a letter from our main character, Imaan, detailing an adventure she and her friends have stirred up, a recipe card with an illustration on it, some stickers, and an extra goodie.

You might be wondering: what makes it slow? Well, FlourTales is run from South Africa, a country whose postal system is in business rescue.
Meaning our snails are slower than they used to be. We do have others for you to pick from – they just come at a price.
Subscribe to Lenny
We love him; he is our happiest delivery snail. But bless him – Lenny will get distracted, and sniff or chew every single flower that he passes.
Letters will be delivered to your door by the South African Postal System.
Our postal system is a bit slow, and Lenny prides himself in testing your patience. Keep in touch and update us when your letter has arrived so that we can adjust your dispatch day to get you your mail on time from the second month onwards. If you haven’t received mail in a while, we’d suggest you try one month first and then purchase a 6-month pack.
This is available anywhere in the world with a working postal system.
Mondays are dispatch days and letters will arrive in 2–8 weeks locally, and after 8 weeks internationally.
The price includes delivery.

This delivery snail is the most efficient. I mean Felix wears a bowtie for goodness sake. He’ll get you your mail like it’s his job. Because it is his job.
Every month your letters will arrive at your door via Pudo (Courier Guy).
Note: March letters purchased before the month starts will be dispatched on 2 March 2026. Thereafter, dispatch days will be the Monday after purchase.
This is available in South Africa only.
Letters will arrive in 3–5 working days after dispatch.
The price includes the monthly R79 Pudo delivery.
